Motion Capture Technician.
Hi. I’m Robert Fernandez and I’m a motion capture technician. I graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Game Art and Production specializing in motion capture in video games. While doing some graduate-level coursework, I also studied the use of motion capture in physical therapy applications. I currently work at Gearbox Software doing motion capture work on a variety of games.
When I’m not doing motion capture, I enjoy participating in the VEX Robotics Competition and my teams have been awarded two World Championship titles.

I am a level designer on the game Fantasy Fairways which recently launched on Steam's Early Access. The levels I have created range from starting courses to advanced courses.
My minor in Video Production enabled me to learn how to edit and create short films. Most recently I traveled to Cuba to create a short documentary. I also spent six months as an intern at a video production company.
As a robotics mentor for The Haverford School I was in charge of teaching robotics to a group of four dozen students ranging from grades 6-12. During my second year as mentor, I led one of my students to win the title of High School World Champion at the World Championship event.
I love working with teams. Whether it's working with a team of ten students on my senior project, helping my robotics team win a world championship title, or leading my Eagle Scout project, I make sure my work is always completed on time and is of the highest quality.
I am well-versed in running simulations in Maya for both animated and live action films. Using the program Nuke I am able to compile all of the effects into a finished shot.
Send me a message or give me a ring. I'd love to hear from you!
